Mike Hernandez founded Camino Real Chevrolet on March 16, 1976, choosing a name rich with significance—”Camino Real,” translating to “King’s Road.” His vision was to establish a self-sustaining business that would contribute positively to the community. Believing strongly in the power of a cohesive team, Hernandez cultivated a family-oriented atmosphere at the dealership. This approach has proved successful; three generations later, the business thrives with his three sons, two daughters, and grandsons all involved. Today, the legacy continues with his son, Robb Hernandez, stepping into the role of Dealer Operator and another son, Michael Hernandez Jr., serving as the General Manager. We continue to strive to embody family-driven success.
As of 2018, we opened up our Commercial Truck Division and are proud to serve our community with our knowledgeable staff, parts and service department.
